Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall professional experience.
- Proficient in Java (Spring Boot) for API Development.
- Experience with API Management (Apigee/KrakenD/AWS Gateway) for 3 years.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React or Angular.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee, KrakenD, or AWS API Gateway.
- Implement scalable and secure API architectures using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Work with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for deployment purposes.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes for managing deployments.

Role : Software Engineer
Location : Brazil (Remote)
Employment Type : Contract
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee (preferred), KrakenD, or AWS API Gateway.
- Implement scalable and secure API architectures using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend applications using JavaScript / TypeScript with React or Angular.
- Work with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Utilize CI / CD pipelines (ADO Pipelines), GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes to manage code, build processes, and deployments.
- Write robust unit, integration, and automated tests using tools such as Cucumber and Mockito.
- Contribute to cross‑organization API standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Agile / Scrum teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
- 5+ years of overall professional experience.
- Java (Spring Boot) – API Development.
- API Management (Apigee / KrakenD / AWS Gateway) – 3 years.
- Cloud Platforms (AWS / GCP).
- JavaScript / TypeScript.
- React / Angular.
- Strong understanding of API protocols and architectural patterns (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
- Proficiency with CI / CD, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience writing automated tests (Cucumber, Mockito).
- Ability to write clear documentation and contribute to API governance efforts.
