ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations within a business unit, ensuring operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
This role will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities across Receiving, Stocking, Shipping, Sorting, and Inventory , ensuring that operational processes are executed effectively and that teams are properly guided and supported to achieve business objectives.
The professional will also play an important role in monitoring operational performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, solving operational issues, and implementing corrective actions to enhance overall warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily logistics operations within the assigned business unit, ensuring activities are completed within established deadlines and quality standards.
- Lead and engage employees in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies , as well as company standards and procedures.
- Ensure the effective execution and maintenance of existing operational processes, while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency.
- Oversee key warehouse activities, including Receiving, Stocking, Shipping, Sorting, and Inventory , prioritizing and distributing tasks according to operational needs.
- Provide guidance and support to the team, addressing operational challenges and resolving issues that may impact productivity, quality, or service levels.
- Monitor operational progress and performance, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with SLAs, productivity targets, and quality standards .
- Track and analyze key operational performance indicators (KPIs), using data and logistics studies to identify trends, operational gaps, and opportunities to improve overall warehouse performance.
- Coordinate physical inventory activities, ensuring proper execution and taking the necessary actions to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality standards within the area of responsibility.
- Provide regular feedback, guidance, and performance insights to leaders and coordinators, supporting team development and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between logistics operations and broader business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management , or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably with experience in logistics operations, continuous improvement, distribution, supply chain, or demand planning.
- Previous experience supervising or coordinating logistics or warehouse operations.
- Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills , with the ability to interpret operational data and make sound, data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical solutions to improve productivity, quality, and service levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, peers, direct reports, and cross-functional stakeholders .
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining operational excellence.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Availability to work shifts in Guarulhos .
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale warehouse, fulfillment, distribution center, or e-commerce operations.
- Experience with KPI management, operational performance analysis, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives .
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in high-volume and rapidly changing logistics environments.
