Visa Inc. is looking for a skilled UX Designer to join their Open Banking Solutions team in Brazil. The role involves creating user-centric designs, conducting user research, and collaborating with various teams. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in UX/UI design and knowledge of the Brazilian market. This hybrid position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to innovative banking solutions.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced UX Designer to join the Visa Open Banking Solutions team in the mission to expand to the Brazilian market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating best-in-class user interfaces and experiences, ensuring that users enjoy a seamless and engaging journey throughout the entire product flow. This role demands a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles to consistently deliver exceptional and intuitive user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct user research and user testing to deeply understand the problems and needs of customers in the Brazilian market
Structure and deliver design projects with high quality and successful outcomes
Communicate and motivate design strategy and decisions to the Brazil expansion team and key stakeholders at Visa Open Banking
Establish yourself as a key partner in the commercial, tech, product and design organization, effectively manage a wide variety of stakeholders, being the primary voice of design for the Brazilian market
Contribute to the design system on the Visa’s Global Open Banking Platform
Continuously improve ways of working with design across the organization
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Basic Qualification
•5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years
of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0
years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualification
•Excellent UX and UI design skills, demonstrated by a strong portfolio
•Min. 5 years of product design experience with digital products on desktop and
mobile
•Market knowledge and experience in Brazil
•Native in Portuguese and Fluent in English
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a large organization
•Experience with user research and usability testing
•Experience with design in Figma
•Preferably experience in the payments and financial industry
