Capgemini looks for a Unix Systems Administrator (Linux/Unix) to join a cross-functional team supporting development, testing, and production environments. You will ensure platform availability, security, and performance while automating tasks and maintaining documentation.

The role emphasizes scripting, security hardening, incident analysis, and collaboration with DevOps and IT operations. A bachelor’s degree and experience with Linux distributions, Ansible, Kubernetes, and CI/CD are desirable.

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of operating systems.
• Patching, upgrades and package management.
• Shell scripting (Bash and/or KornShell).
• User, group, permissions, SSH, sudo and authentication management.
• Infrastructure protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, NTP).
• File systems, storage and system services.
• Monitoring, logging, alerting, backup and recovery.
• Automation and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
