About the Role

Uber is seeking a Treasury Manager to join our Treasury Team based in LATAM Reporting directly to the International Cash Manager, you will lead our LATAM Cash Management activities and play a critical role in Uber’s evolving treasury function.

This role would play a pivotal role in managing operational treasury activities while driving strategic and transformational initiatives. This role offers a balance of hands-on treasury management and process optimization, making it an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury operations, experience in process development and optimization, and the ability to use data-driven insights and automation to improve treasury efficiency. Experience withlegal entity balance sheet management is essential.

Although the Treasury Lead will not have direct people management responsibility, you will be working closely with a team of Treasury Analysts within the region. As such, coaching, mentoring, and motivating junior team members will be a key part of this role, ensuring their development and effectiveness in supporting treasury activities.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Cash & Liquidity Management: Oversee daily cash positioning and liquidity management for entities within the assigned region.
• Legal Entity Balance Sheet Management: Develop and implement balance sheet management strategies for LATAM subsidiaries, supporting Uber’s growth and financial objectives.
• Payments & Banking Operations: Ensure timely execution of payments and effective management of banking relationships.
• Process Transformation & Automation: Lead and oversee the transition of treasury tasks to an outsourcedTreasury Operations, ensuring a seamless handover and operational excellence while leveraging automation to improve processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Tax, Legal, Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Payments and external banking partners, to support treasury and business objectives.
• Projects & Continuous Improvement: Drive treasury-related projects, using data analytics and automation to enhance efficiency, risk management, and operational resilience.
• *Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to treasury policies, controls, and regulatory requirements. Ensure timely completion and adherence to all accounting, financial reporting, audit, and SOX requirements.*

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of treasury, cash and liquidity management experience at a top corporate or financial institution (Treasury Operations expertise, Process Development mindset, Data Driven decision making approach).
• Exposure to balance sheet management within a corporate environment.
• Candidates must be fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish is considered an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Exceptional communication, influencing and organizational skills, strong project management acumen, and ability to multitask seamlessly. Ability to work with and influence various stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in data and financial analysis are highly beneficial
• CTP, CFA or MBA is a plus
• Public company experience in a large multi-national preferred
• Enthusiasm about Uber!

• Strong exposure to payment service ecosystem (collections & disbursement)
