Job summary

Clariant is seeking a senior treasury professional to lead liquidity, FX, and banking relationships across the Americas, reporting to Group Treasury in Switzerland.

This role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution and is part of a broader digital treasury transformation, including Kyriba TMS and POBO/COBO initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of treasury experience in multinational companies.
• Experience with Americas regulatory environments is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.

Responsibilities

• Drive liquidity management and cash flow performance across the Americas, optimizing subsidiary capital structures in line with Group Treasury policies.
• Identify and manage FX exposures, executing hedging strategies via the in-house bank and monitoring results against benchmarks.
• Own end‑to‑end bank account management (KYC, mandates) in Kyriba TMS and lead banking relationships across the region, including wallet analysis, pricing reviews, and account rationalization.
• Lead the Americas workstream in the Kyriba TMS/in‑house bank transformation (POBO/COBO, netting, centralized FX), identifying digitalization opportunities and exploring AI applications in cash forecasting and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies and local regulations (including BACEN and IOF), delivering Treasury KPIs and providing guidance on regulatory changes.
• Act as Treasury lead for regional strategic projects (entity restructuring, new market entries, capex, trade finance), engaging with senior stakeholders, regional leadership, and Group Treasury headquarters.

Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years of treasury experience in multinational companies, combined with established relationships with financial institutions or proven banking sector experience
• Experience with Americas regulatory environments is a plus

Languages

• English and Portuguese - fluent, mandatory

Education

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
