Clariant seeks an experienced professional to drive Emergency Management and Business Continuity across the Americas and LATAM. This individual contributor role focuses on developing frameworks, training programs, and continuity systems while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

You will steer regional programs, monitor KPIs, and lead training initiatives, with strong emphasis on crisis leadership and rapid decision-making under pressure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; aptitude in Crisis Management systems is prioritized.
• Minimum 3 years senior-level experience in Crisis Management, Business Continuity, or EHS with strategic decision-making responsibilities.
• Proven track record leading complex emergency management initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple levels.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound judgments under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Steer and maintain the regional Emergency Management program, including SOPs, guidelines, and simulation exercises.
• Manage and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) across the region.
• Monitor Emergency Management performance against KPIs, identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Develop training materials and deliver EM and BCMS training to regional teams.
• Support the Head of Emergency Management in Global Emergency Management initiatives, acting as deputy when required.
• Lead root cause analysis for emergency incidents and conduct operational assessment audits.

Responsibilities

• Steer and maintain the regional Emergency Management program, including SOPs, guidelines, and simulation exercises

Requirements

• Solid senior-level experiencein Crisis Management, Business Continuity, or EHS — with a minimum of 3 years in astrategic and decision-making capacity
• Proven track recordofleading complex emergency management initiativesand influencing stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
• Fluent English withstrong communication
• Ability to workautonomouslyand make sound judgments under pressure
• Agility and composure when dealing with high-stakes emergency scenarios

  This position offers flexibility for the successful candidate to be based at any Clariant site in Brazil, including Suzano (SP), São Paulo (SP), Jacareí (SP), Belo Horizonte (MG), Rio das Ostras (RJ), Vitória da Conquista (BA), or Ananindeua (PA). For business reasons,the preferred locations are Suzano (SP) or São Paulo (SP).
