Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, advanced Excel skills, and a working knowledge of transportation IT. English proficiency at an intermediate level is desirable.

• Ensure compliance with applicable cargo transport laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Management:

• Plan and coordinate multi-modal transport operations (road, air, sea), optimizing the flow of vehicles and cargo.

Cost and Timeline Optimization:

• Identify and develop business opportunities; negotiate freight rates and services with carriers and logistics providers to secure the best commercial and operational terms and ensure freight cost competitiveness.

Data Analysis and KPIs :

• Monitor performance indicators (KPIs)—such as delays, costs, and service levels and propose action plans for continuous improvement. Translate complex data into strategic insights and recommendations for management.

Stakeholder Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with transport providers (including vendor qualification and periodic evaluation), customers, and internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales) to ensure supply chain integration.

Projects and Improvements :

• Participate in and lead various operational projects, such as implementing new technologies (e.g., TMS - Transport Management Systems) and defining or modifying transport policies.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Ensure all operations comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding cargo transport.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
