The role requires attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, with emphasis on IMMEX program management and regulatory compliance. The candidate will analyze trade laws, apply FTAs where relevant, and support internal audits to ensure accurate, compliant international trade operations.

Qualificações

  • Degree in International Relations or related field.

**Role:**

Comply with import/export regulations, handles tariff classifications, processes documentation, and liaises with customs authorities. They analyze and apply trade laws, manage customs data, and support internal audits, ensuring accurate and efficient international trade operations for the organization.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

**What the candidate will do:**
  • Manage and ensure compliance with IMMEX program regulations.
  • FTA analyze & apply the benefits of the Free Trade Agreement.
  • Accurate HTS classification of goods for customs purposes.
  • Efficient processing of Record Keeping import/export documents.
  • Monitor and control fixed assets in accordance with regulations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with customs and regulatory authorities.
**Degree Requirement:**
  • Degree required in International Relations, International Business, International Commerce or similar field.
  • Intermediate Conversational English

**What You Have**

**International Trade**
  • **Mexican Customs Laws:** Comprehensive understanding of Mexican customs laws and international trade regulations.
  • **FTA:** Proficiency in managing Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documentation is essential.
  • **Certifications & Programs:** Fixed Assets, Record Keeping, OEA/CTPAT, Annex 24-30, Customs Audits, PROSEC, CO, Regla 8va, Formalities with Ministry of Economy such as Mill/Quality Certificates, SAT Audits, IMMEX, VAT Certification, Countervailing Duties.
  • **Customs Regulations:** The ability to stay updated with evolving regulations is vital for maintaining compliance
  • **Legal knowledge** : Understanding of Mexican customs laws and international trade regulations.

  • Ability to conduct detailed audits and identify compliance issues.
  • Identify root cause issues and implement proper corrective actions

  • Communication skills are critical for effectively liaising with customs authorities and training staff on compliance procedures.
  • Verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with government agencies and training employees.
**Data Gathering and Reporting**
  • Interprets and explains results of a data-gathering initiative.
  • Proficiency with customs software and databases. **Such as annex 24-30**, **pediments empresarial or similar**
  • Reporting and presentations skills with internal and external customers.

**Additional Information:**
  • Location: Santa Catarina
  • This position will require to travel 30-40% (Domestic and International)
  • Valid Travel Visa is required
  • Sponsorship for foreign candidates aren´t available
  • Domestic Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
