TechnipFMC in Brazil is seeking a Project Operations leader to plan, coordinate, and control operations across onshore and offshore environments. The role covers personnel mobilization, materials, logistics, and budget adherence, with a focus on customer requirements and safe, efficient execution.

The position involves managing a small team, a hybrid work model (4 days onsite, 1 day remote), and temporary maternity cover from October to July.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
  • Operational knowledge of PLSV operations and offshore experience.
  • Experience in team management and Lean manufacturing.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI and process digitalization.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate the operational and administrative support teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead Service Technicians in onshore/offshore operations safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare pre-job reports with equipment and well data.
  • Ensure training availability based on forecasts.
  • Participate in project and commissioning through design reviews and FAT.
  • Provide technical support via site visits to Subsea Equipment sites.
  • Supervise development of procedures ensuring quality and Petrobras standards.
  • Share field performance data to drive corrective actions across departments.
  • Interact with manufacturing facilities during maintenance activities.
  • Participate in field issue decisions with Petrobras RA and GEP.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare monthly management reports.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of Project Operations at TechnipFMC, in both onshore and offshore environments in Brazil, working on a full-time availability basis to ensure customer requirements are met through adequate operational support, including human resources, materials, and logistics, while maintaining budgetary expense limits and complying with company procedures and established standards.

Job Description
  • Coordinate the operational technical support and administrative support teams, delegating daily activities related to personnel mobilization, materials, and logistics to ensure smooth operations with all necessary support.
  • Coordinate the Service Technicians team, providing support for onshore and offshore operations to ensure activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and without downtime, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare pre-job reports containing all technical information related to the equipment to be installed and operational well data, optimizing access to information during operations.
  • Ensure team availability for training activities based on operational forecasts provided by the customer, keeping personnel updated on new equipment and technologies.
  • Participate in project and commissioning phases through design review meetings and factory acceptance tests, ensuring optimal product adaptation and integration.
  • Provide technical support to customers through frequent visits to Subsea Equipment (EQSB) sites, supporting client operations.
  • Supervise the development and revision of operational procedures, providing technical information and field documentation to ensure compliance with applicable quality control procedures and Petrobras operational standards.
  • Contribute to equipment performance improvement by sharing field performance information across company departments and recommending corrective actions to eliminate operational issues.
  • Maintain close interaction with manufacturing facilities, providing support during equipment maintenance activities and ensuring equipment suitability for offshore operations.
  • Participate in decision-making processes related to field issues and operational occurrences through operational meetings with Petrobras (RA and GEP), supporting anomaly resolution efforts.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and service expansion possibilities.
  • Prepare monthly management reports demonstrating department efficiency indicators through operational control systems.
You are meant for this job if:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
  • Operational knowledge of PLSV operations and offshore experience.
  • Experience in team management.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and process digitalization.

  • Manage a team of 3 Engineers and 2 Interns.
  • Weekly department meetings.
  • Hybrid work model: 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home.

Temporary position to cover maternity leave from October through July.
