TechnipFMC is seeking an experienced ROV Operator to perform offshore remotely operated vehicle tasks, oversee system preparation and calibration, and support diagnostics and safety procedures. You will follow established protocols for launch/recovery, data integrity, and documentation.

Qualificações

  • Technical degree in engineering technology fields.

Responsabilidades

  • Operate ROV systems during subsea inspection, intervention, and installation activities.
  • Prepare ROV systems and associated equipment, verifying functionality of systems, sensors, and peripherals.
  • Participate in ROV launch and recovery operations following established procedures and protocols.
  • Support troubleshooting activities and maintenance execution.
  • Perform functional testing and calibration of onboard systems.
  • Comply with HSE procedures and risk assessments.
  • Report operational deviations and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
  • Complete operational logs and mission reports accurately.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of collected data and video imagery.

Job Purpose

The ROV Operator is responsible for performing ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) operations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established technical procedures. This professional works autonomously in operational activities, supports junior operators, and collaborates with supervisors on diagnostics, maintenance, and technical decision-making processes, contributing to the overall performance and safety of offshore operations.

Job Description
  • Operate ROV systems during subsea inspection, intervention, and installation activities.
  • Perform manipulator and subsea tooling operations while ensuring technical compliance and operational safety.
  • Prepare ROV systems and associated equipment, verifying functionality of systems, sensors, and peripherals.
  • Participate in ROV launch and recovery operations following established procedures and protocols.
  • Support troubleshooting activities and maintenance execution.
  • Perform functional testing and calibration of onboard systems.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and actively participate in risk assessments.
  • Report operational deviations and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
  • Complete operational logs and mission reports accurately.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of collected data and video imagery.
You are meant for this job if:

Technical Degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Electrical / Electronics Technology
  • Electrotechnics
  • Electromechanical Technology
  • Mechatronics.
Additional Requirements:
  • Active CFT registration.

Advanced English.

Experience with PLSV or RSV vessels.

Knowledge of XLX.
