Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Governance VP to join our IP International Services team. As an Operations Governance VP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping processes, standards, and metrics on how IP International operates across multiple locations and functions, ensuring consistency, effective resource utilization, and a governance model that supports continuous improvement cycles, thereby enhancing stability, resiliency, security, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline operations across three regions, including data gathering, documenting, analyzing current patterns, discrepancies, and developing operational catalogs, roles, responsibilities, and standard procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a governance framework to ensure consistency across locations and functions, with objectives to:
  • Improve organizational effectiveness by setting and assessing KPIs with local and regional leads.
  • Identify and address critical issues, prioritizing actions that deliver the most value.
  • Enhance customer experience through consistent service delivery, SLA reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Optimize workforce by adopting new processes, best practices, and innovations.
  • Maintain improvement cycles by challenging the status quo and partnering with leads for course corrections.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, automation tools, and best practices.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, especially in large organizations.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
  • Experience with data visualization and workflow automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik).

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python.
  • Visionary with a detail-oriented approach to identify operational improvements.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong data processing, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
