Descrição da oferta de emprego

Technical Program Manager , Marketplace Integrations (LatAm)

At Amazon LatAm we value Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in all our job positions, therefore, we act intentionally so that our internal environment reflects the plurality of the businesses we play and the customers we serve.

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to own and drive the technical integration roadmap with Marketplace Hubs (Integrators) in LatAm. You will work directly with external development teams to implement, maintain, and scale their integrations to Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API) ecosystem, a RESTful Web service architecture that enables programmatic exchange of listings, orders, payments, reports, and more.

This role requires deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, API design patterns, and software development lifecycle, combined with strong cross-functional communication skills to engage engineering teams, negotiate timelines, and drive delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Technical Scope

Systems Architecture: Understand and advise on integration architecture patterns including event-driven architectures, webhook-based notifications, batch processing pipelines, and real-time API consumption models. Evaluate partner system designs for scalability, reliability, and compliance with Amazon's technical standards.

API and Schema Expertise

Master Amazon's SP-API framework including RESTful endpoints, JSON schema validation, OAuth 2.0 authentication flows, rate limiting strategies, error handling patterns, and data model schemas (product types, listing attributes, order objects). Guide partners through schema mapping between their internal data models and Amazon's catalog structure.

Software Development

Provide hands-on technical support including code review of integration implementations, troubleshooting HTTP request/response cycles, debugging serialization/deserialization issues, and validating payload structures. Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in integrations (Python, Java, C#, PHP, JavaScript/Node.js) is required.

AI and Automation (MCP)

Leverage and advise on AI-driven automation tools, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, LLM-based solutions for seller experience optimization, and intelligent automation workflows that enhance integration quality and reduce manual intervention in the development lifecycle.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

Act as the technical bridge between Amazon's internal product/engineering teams and external partner development squads. Translate complex technical requirements into actionable implementation plans. Lead technical design reviews, conduct architecture assessments, and present integration roadmaps to senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle for a portfolio of managed integrators, from technical onboarding through production deployment and ongoing optimization
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical consulting: documentation guidance, API best practices, example implementations, sandbox testing support, and production troubleshooting
  • Analyze integration metrics (API call patterns, error rates, latency, adoption coverage) to identify improvement opportunities and drive data-informed decisions
  • Manage project pipelines with daily/weekly cadence via structured communication channels, ensuring alignment on milestones, blockers, and delivery commitments
  • Serve as technical advisor to Product Managers on solution feasibility, effort estimation, and product roadmap prioritization based on architectural constraints and partner capabilities
  • Drive adoption of new API features and schema updates across the integrator ecosystem, ensuring rollout coverage and seller experience quality
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with RESTful API architectures, Web services, and distributed systems design
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, PHP, or JavaScript)
  • Understanding of data schemas (JSON Schema, XML), API authentication (OAuth 2.0), and integration patterns (webhooks, polling, event-driven)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent technical workstreams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Portuguese and English for cross‑functional and cross‑regional collaboration
  • Analytical mindset with experience using metrics to drive technical decisions
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, automation frameworks, and emerging integration protocols (MCP)
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical‑path management experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
