About the Position :

The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for leading the requirements gathering and delivering key solutions for commerce projects, both B2B and B2C, as well as managing various integrations. The role is integral to ensuring successful IT implementations, driving client satisfaction, and collaborating effectively across internal teams. The PO must have strong independence, technical understanding, and the ability to balance customer needs with available technologies, ensuring that the project is on track and delivering value.

What You'll Do :

Lead and facilitate detailed requirements gathering sessions for B2B, B2C, and integration projects, ensuring alignment between client needs, technical solutions, and business objectives. Achieve a 90% success rate in clearly defining and documenting these requirements for implementation by development teams.

Client Communication and Stakeholder Management :

Maintain strong, ongoing communication with clients, managing expectations, providing updates, and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Achieve a 90% satisfaction rate from stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and concerns are proactively addressed.

Solution Design and Consulting :

Lead solution design discussions with both the client and internal teams, proposing tailored solutions based on client needs and available technologies. Drive the creation of high-level architectural diagrams that accurately represent the proposed solution. Achieve a 90% success rate in aligning client needs with practical, scalable solutions.

Take ownership of projects and work autonomously with minimal support from tech leaders or developers. Drive projects forward, ensure timely delivery, and mitigate risks. Deliver successful outcomes in at least 85% of projects with minimal guidance.

Flexibility and Adaptability :

Successfully shift between various roles (PO, BA, consultant) depending on project needs. Demonstrate the ability to adapt to both agile and waterfall project management methodologies and effectively manage work in either framework. Achieve a 90% success rate in adjusting to the demands of different roles as needed.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

Foster collaboration among internal teams (tech, business, etc.), ensuring that everyone is aligned and working efficiently towards project goals. Achieve a 90% rate of collaboration success, where cross-functional teams effectively deliver on project milestones.

Experience You'll Bring :

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with both clients and internal teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed. This includes written, verbal, and presentation skills. Competence in leading discussions, capturing key points, and ensuring follow-through on action items.

Independence and Self-Organization :

Demonstrates high self-reliance and the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring deadlines are met without requiring constant oversight or support. The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

Commerce and Integration Knowledge :

Strong understanding of B2B and B2C commerce, including IT systems, integrations, and relevant technologies. Experience in managing or consulting on IT implementations, with a deep understanding of how commerce projects come together.

Problem-Solving and Consulting :

Able to identify challenges and offer tailored solutions that meet both the technical and business needs of the client. Can think strategically and deliver solutions that maximize client value, utilizing the available technologies.

Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The ability to adapt to and manage projects using either methodology effectively. Experience in working with project timelines, budgets, and teams.

Compensation :

Salary is commensurate with experience based on department and role.
