Customer Support Specialist (Tier 1)

The Customer Support Specialist (Tier 1) will learn the intricacies of Fluke Reliability software products and provide support to customers, partners, and internal team members via telephone, email, web meetings, and chat technologies. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing team that encourages internal career growth into other departments, including Account Management, Professional Services, Sales, or Support.

Customer Support Specialist (Tier 1)

The Customer Support Specialist (Tier 1) will learn the intricacies of Fluke Reliability software products and provide support to customers, partners, and internal team members via telephone, email, web meetings, and chat technologies. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing team that encourages internal career growth into other departments, including Account Management, Professional Services, Sales, or Support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Fluke Reliability software applications to end users in a Microsoft and web-based environment.
  • Answer incoming customer support inquiries via phone calls, email, and chat communications.
  • Find and communicate accurate solutions to issues reported by end users while using Fluke Reliability products, leveraging analytical skills and strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Work collaboratively in a strong team environment to deliver exceptional support to customers across various industries.
  • Multi-task during calls to research technical issues while effectively communicating with customers and clearly documenting the problem.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, ensuring a seamless support experience from the end user's perspective.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written) to assist customers via chat, calls, and emails.
  • Experience in supporting software platforms (SaaS) is essential.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce for managing customer interactions and support cases.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to function efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Database knowledge is a plus.
