Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced engineering leader to mentor Agile teams and own the backlog while collaborating with architects and stakeholders. You will leverage a strong technical background in C++ and Unity to align development with business needs and release scopes.

The role emphasizes strategic backlog management, roadmap planning, and cross-team coordination, with fluent English required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of enterprise experience supporting Agile development teams.
• Proven management skills in conflict resolution, multi-reporting, roadmap planning, and backlog ownership.
• Solid software engineering background with ability to engage in technical discussions, especially C++ and Unity.
• Experience analyzing product requirements across the SDLC (architecture, development, testing, deployment).
• Fluent English is required for effective communication in a global context.

• Leverage prior technical/coding experience to prioritise development and QA tickets based on business and customer needs;
• Take ownership of the product backlog, story writing, project roadmap, and manage dependencies;
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, and stakeholders to define and communicate release schedules and scope.
