Kenvue Inc. is seeking a Systems Specialist - AVEVA to configure, develop, and support the AVEVA MES platform across manufacturing sites.

This hands-on role requires strong SQL, JavaScript, and API skills, plus experience with AVEVA MES and AVEVA Work Tasks in a hybrid Brazil-based setting. The position collaborates with analysts and site teams to deliver MES capabilities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure data integrity across the global MES template.

Qualificações

• Bachelor Degree in Technology, Systems Information or related field.
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA MES (Wonderware MES) and AVEVA Work Tasks development and configuration.
• Experience configuring and supporting MES applications in manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and ISA-95 principles.
• Strong SQL skills, including script development, stored procedures, and troubleshooting.
• JavaScript development experience for MES customization and user interface enhancements.
• Experience working with application integrations, APIs, and database interfaces.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub development processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across application, integration, and database layers.
• Experience with software testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and develop MES solutions using the AVEVA MES platform
• Develop and maintain MES workflows, forms, screens, and business logic
• Create solution enhancements and implement new functionality based on business requirements
• Participate in technical design discussions and translate designs into working solutions
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions and prototypes when required
• Support testing, validation, and deployment activities
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of MES application issues
• Develop and support integrations between MES and enterprise systems
• Create and maintain database interfaces, APIs, and data exchanges
• Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and reports to support business processes
• Troubleshoot data flow and integration issues across application and database layers
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance of MES solutions
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the Global MES Template
• Support rollout activities across manufacturing sites
• Help identify opportunities for solution standardization and reuse
• Participate in solution documentation and knowledge-sharing activities
• Ensure delivered solutions align with established standards and best practices
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to understand requirements
• Contribute to technical specifications and solution designs
• Break requirements into development tasks and user stories
• Participate in sprint planning, development, testing, and release activities
• Provide effort estimates and status updates for assigned work packages
• Support production environments and incident resolution activities
• Investigate and resolve application defects and performance issues
• Participate in system upgrades, maintenance, and enhancement initiatives
• Assist users and site teams with technical issue resolution when required

What you will do

The Systems Specialist is responsible for configuring, developing, enhancing, and supporting Kenvue's Global Manufacturing Execution System solution based on the AVEVA MES platform.

The role works closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and manufacturing sites to deliver MES capabilities that support business and operational requirements across the manufacturing network. The position is highly hands-on, with a primary focus on solution configuration, software development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of MES applications.

The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Global MES template while supporting manufacturing digitization initiatives across multiple sites.

This position will be based out of our São José dos Campos, Brazil or in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities

• MES Development & Configuration

  Configure and develop MES solutions using the AVEVA MES platform
  Develop and maintain MES workflows, forms, screens, and business logic
  Create solution enhancements and implement new functionality based on business requirements

• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems integrations with ERP, LIMS, SCADA, or Historian platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices
