FIS is seeking an entry-level technical contributor to collect basic system requirements and acquire foundational knowledge in systems engineering under close supervision.

You will design basic system elements, analyze functions, compile data for initial repositories, assist with internal communications, estimate costs, and draft introductory system documentation to support early stage projects. This role supports broader departmental goals by improving workflows and processes.

Analyzes basic system functions to identify basic areas for system function improvement. Compiles basic system data for analysis to create a repository of initial system information for use across the department. Advises in less complex system-related issues in order to offer support in resolving basic system challenges. Arranges internal communications related to basic system updates or issues to ensure internal awareness of system-related matters. Estimates costs for system components or tasks, providing a basis of initial cost approximations for system-related activities. Drafts initial system documentation and reports to provide guidance on elementary system components.

Entry-level technical role involving defined tasks under regular supervision. The work supports broader departmental goals by improving workflows, techniques, and processes. Responsibilities involve analyzing data, identifying patterns, and applying innovative thinking to solve problems.
