Job summary

Alstom in Brazil is seeking a Supplier Product Quality Development Engineer who drives quality across global supply chains. You will develop, qualify, and continuously improve supplier performance to meet Alstom’s world-class standards.

You will lead quality assurance activities, implement APQP, PPAP, and FMEA, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable, high-performance components for mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze non-conformities using root cause analysis and 8D.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in quality management systems such as ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS) or ISO 9001.
• Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP).
• Ability to analyze non-conformities using root cause analysis and 8D methodology.
• Knowledge of supplier development tools and statistical process control (SPC).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to drive supplier engagement and improvement.
