CENTREE PTE. LTD. in the North Region is seeking an experienced Student Care Teacher to join our school-age program. You will supervise and support primary students during before- and after-school hours, fostering safe, engaging learning and positive habits.

Responsibilities include guiding P1 to P6 learners in core subjects, ensuring homework completion, and upholding wellbeing and classroom safety. A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years' experience with primary school children in a student care, teaching or related role.
• Holistic development focus and commitment to children's wellbeing.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Student Care Teacher to join our team in the North Region. This full-time position is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of primary school students in our vibrant and inclusive student care centre.

What you\'ll be doing

• Providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for primary school students during before and after-school hours

• Supervise and guide primary school students (P1 to P6) in the following subjects - English, Mathematics, and Science; and ensure daily completion of school homework or in-house learning materials.

• Conduct in-house programs and be the role model to the students for good habits and values.

• Ensure the well-being of the students in the centre.

• Implement effective classroom management and ensure that safety and security protocols are met at all times.

What we\'re looking for

• Minimum 2 years\' experience working with primary school-aged children in a student care, teaching or related role

• Passion for supporting the holistic development of children and a genuine commitment to their wellbeing

• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

• Creative flair and the ability to engage students through dynamic, play-based learning activities

• Relevant educational qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

• Proficiency in Chinese and English (spoken and written) is required to teach the language effectively

• Knowledge of primary school curriculum and ability to provide academic support

• First aid certification or willingness to obtain one
