Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a sales or partner role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Experience with the cloud partner ecosystem (e.g., System Integrators, Service Providers, or Independent Software Vendors) serving SMBs at scale.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Portuguese and English to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience, running experiments, drawing conclusions, and building actionable plans based on data.
  • Experience developing growth initiatives, achieving partner business goals, and using sales reporting tools.
  • Experience driving partner growth and contributing to team culture through leadership skills, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Organizational, project management, and execution capabilities, with problem-solving, attention to detail, and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud products.
About The Job

Within Google Cloud, the Small/Medium Businesses (SMB) Partnerships team is driving rapid Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) growth via our global partner network.

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, you will drive Google Workspace and GCP sales for small/medium businesses across global markets by working collaboratively with our SMB partner lead, direct sales teams, and our extensive partner network. Partners are critical to the growth, adoption, and scale of Google Cloud products. You will work with key SMB-focused partners to develop their Google Cloud business via sales and marketing campaigns, training, and enablement. You will be the key point of contact for our top SMB partners, developing a deep understanding of partner growth drivers and identifying creative solutions to increase sales across various categories of Google Cloud partners. You are collaborative, creative, and able to drive sales at scale through our partner ecosystem. You have experience selling Cloud solutions or working with SaaS partners, and understanding how to measure and grow SMB business. You will manage the partner ecosystem, both directly and at scale, and partner with our direct sales team to build and execute growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with core promoters and channel partners to reach as many SMB accounts with Google Cloud solutions.
  • Own the enablement, alignment, and introductions for core promoters and drive prioritization of the Google Cloud portfolio across all sellers and channel partners.
  • Construct and execute a territory development plan.
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Customer Success, Channels, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer needs and provide excellent customer experience.
  • Develop and drive a pipeline, managing cycles from generation to customer onboarding. Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction.
