Carrier is seeking a Production Supervisor in Santa Catarina, Brazil to lead production staff and set daily goals across multiple cells. The role focuses on achieving production targets while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will drive Lean and World Class Manufacturing initiatives, guide scheduling, and implement continuous improvements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective leadership are essential to success.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within manufacturing.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.
• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong project management and project administration skills.
• Understanding of basic management practices, including work scheduling, task prioritization, coaching, team development, and process execution.
• EHS Background
• Conversational English proficiency (spoken and written).

• Supervises materials and logistics activities to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
• Manages cell performance and productivity to maximize output.
• Guides production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance capabilities.
• Interfaces with customers to understand needs and ensure satisfactory service.

Summary

This position supervises entry and intermediate professional level employees or team leaders of production employees and sets day-to-day goals. Manages cell productivity and guides scheduling, sequencing of work, and production innovation to optimize production.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
• Guides cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
• Plans and executes scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules.
• Guides the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity.
• Supervises activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
• Manages cell performance and productivity for multiple cells or a complex cell to maximize productivity.
• Guides production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities.
• Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.
• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong project management and project administration skills.
• Understanding of basic management practices, including work scheduling, task prioritization, coaching, team development, and process execution.
