Carrier is seeking a Quality Engineering leader to oversee operational plans, drive continuous improvement, and manage quality across two Monterrey sites. The role requires strong expertise in APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, Control Plans, and ISO/IATF standards, with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality, a customer-focused mindset, and advanced English proficiency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Master's degree preferred for leadership roles.
• 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, or Manufacturing Quality.
• Strong experience in Supplier Quality and Process Quality.
• Proven experience leading quality initiatives in manufacturing environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with experience addressing customer quality concerns and driving corrective actions.
• Experience in HVAC and/or Automotive industries.
• Advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or equivalent).
• Hands-on with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams; leading root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Knowledge of process transfer, change management, and production validation activities.
• Experience with escape management and risk assessment methodologies.
• Proficient in GD&T.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing and/or electronic products is preferred.
• Multisite quality management experience is highly desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Valid U.S. Visa and ability to travel as required.
• Availability to support operations across two manufacturing sites in Monterrey, Mexico.

About the role

Owns the execution of key elements of Quality Engineering operational plans. May lead a team of primarily experienced Quality Compliance professionals or a team responsible for Quality Engineering for an organization of small size or scope. Sets tactical and operational plans for the achievement of short to medium‑term goals for the development, modification, application, and maintenance of quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols. Provides guidance on the implementation of corrective actions for design problems for internally produced products and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, CAPA).
  • Knowledge of process transfer, change management, and production validation activities.
  • Experience with escape management and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience in electronic manufacturing and/or electronic products preferred.
• Experience managing quality performance across multiple sites is highly desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Valid U.S. Visa and ability to travel as required.
• Availability to support operations across two manufacturing sites in Monterrey, Mexico.
