Descrição da oferta de emprego

Would you like to lead subsea intervention solutions from concept development through offshore execution and performance optimization?

Do you enjoy transforming complex subsea well challenges into technically sound and economically compelling solutions?

Join our successful team!

Baker Hughes is the leading energy technology company, who delivers across the energy value chain through our market-leading business segments. Built on a century of experience and conducting business in over 120 countries. Our innovative technologies and services are taking energy forward! Making it safer, cleaner and more efficient for people and the planet.

Partner with the best

Sr. Subsea Well Access & Intervention Engineer frame subsea intervention and subsea well access concepts with enough practical detail to move from opportunity screening into credible execution planning. The Sr. Subsea Well Access & Intervention Engineer should have worked on real offshore projects that progressed from concept design and pre-FEED/FEED through execution, closeout, and performance or integrity monitoring. The role requires working knowledge of the individual products, systems, vessels, tooling, controls, ROV interfaces, well access methods, P&A technologies, and operational services that make up the subsea intervention value chain. Works closely with wells specialists to select the right technical approach and demonstrate a defensible techno-economic case to the client.

Fuel your passion
  • Subsea intervention strategy: Define subsea access and intervention concepts across riser-based, riserless, light well intervention, P&A, inspection, maintenance, and offshore lifecycle scopes.
  • Technical feasibility: Assess operating envelopes, water depth, metocean, wellhead and tree interfaces, tooling compatibility, ROV requirements, vessel spread, and equipment availability.
  • Full value-chain product knowledge: Understand the practical role and limitations of subsea trees, wellheads, controls, intervention systems, riserless packages, light well intervention systems, ROV tooling, vessels, P&A equipment, and offshore support services.
  • Design-to-execution discipline awareness: Identify the wells, subsea, marine, controls, facilities, HSE, logistics, regulatory and commercial inputs required during design. Challenge missing data before a concept is positioned as executable.
  • Execution and risk framing: Define offshore execution constraints, logistics, weather sensitivity, regulatory requirements, SIMOPS issues, HSE exposure, and risk mitigation measures.
  • Techno-economic integration: Work with wells specialists to compare subsea intervention options, define cost and schedule drivers, and recommend the most appropriate value-based approach for mature offshore or decommissioning projects.
  • Proposal differentiation: Translate subsea intervention capabilities into integrated proposals that demonstrate feasibility, execution confidence, cost discipline, and lifecycle value.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Subsea, Marine, or Offshore Engineering.
  • Have 15+ years of experience in subsea intervention, subsea well access, offshore execution, P&A, or subsea lifecycle operations.
  • Have deep understanding of subsea trees, wellheads, intervention systems, tooling interfaces, ROV operations, vessel spreads, and offshore execution risk.
  • Demonstrate proven ability to frame subsea intervention value propositions and defend techno-economic options with clients and leadership teams.
  • Be able to work in cross-functional teams. Candidate will interface with multiple roles within the Baker Hughes’ and customers’ organizations.
  • Be open to collaborating in multi-cultural environments.
  • Demonstrate strong Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking skills: utilizing logic, creativity, and reasoning to assess complex challenges and develop effective solutions.
