Ball Corporation in São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil, is seeking a Sr. Functional Analyst to lead SAP GRC security governance and access management across the organization.

This role collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to ensure compliant SAP environments and support audits. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SAP security/GRC, strong SAP Basis knowledge, and experience with audits, process documentation, and cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in SAP security, SAP GRC, or a related functional analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP GRC, SAP security, and SAP Basis.
• Experience supporting security audits, compliance reporting, and access management processes.
• Experience creating business analysis deliverables, including functional specifications, process documentation, and test cases.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects is an advantage.

• Lead and support SAP GRC initiatives across the organization.
• Act as the functional lead analyst for SAP GRC, leveraging SAP Basis knowledge to support security and access management activities.
• Manage and support joiner, mover, and leaver processes through the global Service Desk, ensuring timely access provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support compliance requirements and audit activities.
• Maintain and enhance procedures, standards, and controls related to SAP access management and security governance.
• Support project delivery across all phases, from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, hyper-care, and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure adherence to global design principles, technical architecture standards, change management processes, and audit requirements.
• Support AMS activities and drive continuous improvement of SAP solutions based on business needs.
• Contribute to process optimization and implementation of audit findings and compliance reviews.

Position overview:

The Sr. Functional Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting SAP application security across the organization, ensuring adherence to established governance, risk, compliance, and access management policies. This role acts as the functional lead for SAP GRC activities, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to maintain secure and compliant SAP environments while supporting audit requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and support SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) initiatives across the organization.
• Act as the functional lead analyst for SAP GRC, leveraging SAP Basis knowledge to support security and access management activities.
• Manage and support joiner, mover, and leaver processes through the global Service Desk, ensuring timely access provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Partner with internal and external auditors and key stakeholders to support compliance requirements and audit activities.
• Maintain and enhance procedures, standards, and controls related to SAP access management and security governance.
• Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements and support the mitigation of audit and compliance risks.
• Support project delivery across all phases, from business requirements gathering through testing, deployment, hyper-care, and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure adherence to global design principles, technical architecture standards, change management processes, and audit requirements.
• Support AMS activities and drive continuous improvement and enhancement of SAP solutions based on business needs and service delivery priorities.
• Contribute to process optimization and implementation of recommendations identified through audit findings and compliance reviews.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP security, SAP GRC, or a related functional analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP GRC, SAP security, and SAP Basis.
• Experience supporting security audits, compliance reporting, and access management processes.
• Experience creating business analysis deliverables, including functional specifications, process documentation, and test cases.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional, and matrix organizations.
• Professional proficiency in English.

• Location:São José dos Campos/SP
• Hybrid on-site work environment or remote: Preference is hybrid(based in São José dos Campos/SP, this position requires regular on-site presence for three (3) days per week, with core collaboration days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.) or remote from the location of the candidate.
