Freudenberg is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to lead end-to-end process mapping and optimize manufacturing instructions, BOMs, and work instructions. You will evaluate process capabilities, define standards, and implement technical changes in collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams.

This role requires hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, FMEA, and KPI design. You will mentor junior analysts, promote GMP practices, manage changes from new equipment installations,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in a related engineering or management field.
• Experience with process mapping and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of GMP and quality systems beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end process mapping of strategic, critical, and cross-functional processes, identifying dependencies, risks, controls, and customer impacts.


• Analyze, organize, and improve process flows, work instructions (IOs), manufacturing instructions (MIs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing and repackaging standards.


• Develop, review, and maintain operational procedures and work instructions.


• Understand and apply occupational health and safety standards and requirements.


• Ensure compliance with Klüber's internal standards, policies, and procedures.


• Execute activities related to continuous improvement programs and projects.


• Coordinate and align activities with cross-functional teams and external partners.


• Provide operational and technical support to the production administrative team.


• Evaluate process capabilities and performance metrics, including OEE and lead time.


• Define process parameters, standards, and operational specifications.


• Validate, implement, and monitor technical changes within production processes.


• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure process effectiveness and compliance.


• Lead the implementation and operationalization of actions arising from Change Management related to new equipment installations, process modifications, and technology upgrades.


• Apply and promote internal Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, including KS 091 (GMS), as well as FMEA methodologies, ensuring proper integration into procedures and operational processes at Klüber Brazil.


• Manage pre-correction and correction activities for produced batches, ensuring proper documentation and historical tracking.


• Maintain and update product and process databases, including cleaning correlation matrices, processability matrices, VKE tables, MaDocs, and related systems.


• Provide technical support for testing and validation of new products, packaging, and production technologies.


• Prioritize improvement opportunities based on financial impact, risk, customer experience, feasibility, implementation effort, and strategic alignment.


• Lead continuous improvement, process transformation, automation, standardization, and operational simplification initiatives.


• Apply advanced methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), DMAIC, FMEA, statistical analysis, KPI design, and benefits realization management.


• Develop business cases, financial benefit estimates, project schedules, implementation roadmaps, communication plans, and change management strategies.


• Facilitate executive workshops, steering committees, decision‑making forums, and stakeholder alignment meetings.


• Mentor and guide junior and mid‑level analysts, review technical deliverables, and promote process management best practices.


• Establish and maintain process governance frameworks, including process ownership, KPIs, operating rhythms, documentation standards, and continuous improvement mechanisms.


• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, translating business process requirements into system enhancement, digitalization, and automation initiatives when applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Quality Management, Logistics, Business Process Management, or a related field.


• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI.


• Practical knowledge of process mapping (flowcharts) and project planning tools.


• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, PDCA, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagrams, and performance indicators (KPIs).


• Basic knowledge of project management, change management, quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
