Freudenberg Group in Brazil seeks a transport and logistics professional to plan and coordinate multi-modal operations (road, air, sea), optimizing the flow of vehicles and cargo in a dynamic supply chain.

You will monitor KPIs, negotiate freight rates with carriers, lead projects such as implementing a Transport Management System (TMS), ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong relationships with internal teams and external providers to deliver cost-efficient, reliable service.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Familiarity with information technologies applied to transportation.
• Intermediate English proficiency desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate multi-modal transport operations (road, air, sea), optimizing the flow of vehicles and cargo.
• Negotiate freight rates and services with carriers and logistics providers to secure the best commercial and operational terms.
• Monitor KPIs such as delays, costs, and service levels; propose action plans for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transport providers, customers, and internal departments to ensure supply chain integration.
• Lead projects such as implementing new technologies (e.g., TMS) and defining transport policies.
• Ensure all operations comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding cargo transport.
• Apply strategic thinking to optimize transport operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Management: Plan and coordinate multi-modal transport operations (road, air, sea), optimizing the flow of vehicles and cargo.
• Cost and Timeline Optimization: Identify and develop business opportunities; negotiate freight rates and services with carriers and logistics providers to secure the best commercial and operational terms and ensure freight cost competitiveness.
• Data Analysis and KPIs: Monitor performance indicators (KPIs)—such as delays, costs, and service levels—and propose action plans for continuous improvement. Translate complex data into strategic insights and recommendations for management.
• Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with transport providers (including vendor qualification and periodic evaluation), customers, and internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales) to ensure supply chain integration.
• Projects and Improvements: Participate in and lead various operational projects, such as implementing new technologies (e.g., TMS - Transport Management Systems) and defining or modifying transport policies.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all operations comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding cargo transport.
• Behavioral Competencies: Strong analytical skills, complex problem-solving abilities, proactivity, excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a strategic business mindset.
