Overview

This role is vital in supporting live operations, focusing on financial flows from networks such as Visa and Mastercard. It demands a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of messaging protocols, transaction clearing, and rules.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and resolve transaction-related tickets, including missing or unrecognized transactions.
2. Act as the primary contact for network transaction issues, ensuring high client support and satisfaction.
3. Investigate discrepancies, making decisions to approve, deny, or replace transactions as needed.
4. Identify patterns and potential issues proactively, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve the platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Intermediate to Advanced English skills (B2)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Administration, or related field.
• Experience in transaction processing, especially within Visa and Mastercard networks.
• Knowledge of transaction settlement and clearing processes.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience with transaction databases and SQL or similar query languages.
• Ability to interpret behaviors and extract results from technical systems.

Desirable Skills

• Spanish language skills (a plus).
• Familiarity with ISO 8583, EMV, and APIs.
• Experience with AWS tools, Postman, or Insomnia.
• Experience supporting clients globally, considering cultural and regional differences.
• Ability to communicate technical info clearly to non-technical users.
• Previous support or IT-related experience.
• Understanding of cloud technologies.
