Zallpy Digital is seeking a senior frontend/backend developer to join a fully remote Brazil-based team. You will contribute to the API Studio, build rich UI, and extend VS Code with custom tooling. You’ll work in a TypeScript monorepo, collaborate across teams, and help shape architecture and quality.

The role emphasizes high code quality, fast iterations, and close cooperation with language and backend squads. Fluency in English is required for international collaboration.

Qualificações

• Strong TypeScript experience.
• Solid React experience with complex UIs.
• Experience with Node.js and its ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with monorepos using Yarn 2+ or equivalent.
• Experience developing VS Code extensions.
• Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Advanced English for daily client communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and evolve the API Studio web application using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build and maintain VS Code extensions, including commands, views, webviews, and editor API integration.
• Create rich, interactive UI for navigating, querying, and visualizing API models in browser and VS Code.
• Maintain a TypeScript monorepo managed with Yarn 2+ (Berry) with organized packages and shared libraries.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
• Collaborate with language and backend teams to integrate tooling for interface definitions.
• Prioritize clarity, performance, and usability across screens and commands.
• Participate in technical decisions, code reviews, and architectural improvements.

What you will do:

• Develop and evolve the API Studio web application using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build and maintain VS Code extensions, including commands, views, webviews, and integration with the editor's APIs.
• Create rich, interactive UI for navigating, querying, and visualizing complex API models, both in the browser and inside VS Code.
• Work in a TypeScript monorepo managed with Yarn 2+ (Berry), keeping packages, shared libraries, and builds well organized.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
• Collaborate with the language and backend teams to integrate the tooling that processes interface definitions.
• Care about developer experience: clarity, performance, and usability of every screen and command.
• Take part in technical decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvements to architecture and quality.

What we are looking for:

• Solid, senior-level experience with TypeScript.
• Strong experience building complex applications with React.
• Experience with Node.js and its ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with monorepos using Yarn 2+ (Berry) or equivalent setups.
• Experience developing VS Code extensions.
• Good knowledge of Git and engineering best practices: code review, continuous integration, and automated testing.
• Advanced English for daily communication with an international client.

Nice to have:

• Playwright and Jest or Vitest.
• Monaco Editor and VS Code webviews.
• A published VS Code extension (Marketplace or Open VSX).
• TypeScript monorepos using project references.
• Experience with developer tools, IDEs, or Language Server Protocol (LSP).
• A strong sense of UX and attention to interface details.
