Job summary

Medtronic plc in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks an experienced Electrophysiology specialist to support physicians and EP lab staff on the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System. The role requires travel and a strong clinical background in EP.

The candidate will train hospital teams, assist with planning and installation, and collaborate with education and technical departments to advance EP technologies across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related scientific disciplines.
• Valid driver’s license (B).
• Valid American visa.
• 5+ years of clinical Electrophysiology experience with independent support of mapping procedures.
• Advanced English.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically; São Paulo, SP as current location.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and Electrophysiology Lab Staff on the use of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, PFA & Cryo
• Provide in‑service training to introduce new technologies to various hospital stakeholders and ensure technology acceptance
• Play an active role in the planning and effective installation of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System and efficiently collaborate with the technical department
• Work closely with the education team and support the development of training centers
• Demonstrate excellent ability to plan cases and define priorities to maximize case coverage

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree is required in biomedical engineering, nursing or related scientific disciplines.
• Valid driver’s license (B)
• Valid American visa
• 5+ years of clinical Electrophysiology experience and successful independent support of Electrophysiology mapping procedures.
• Advanced English
• Willingness to be flexible and travel as required (international and national travels), as well as having São Paulo/SP as current location.
