About Potash

The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon. BHP’s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewandesigned to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.

Jansen's construction will take place over several years with first production planned for late 2026. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. Work Location

This role will be based at the Jansen Mine Site located in Leroy, SK.The associated work schedule will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As this role is not eligible for accommodation in the site camp, the incumbent must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Jansen site. BHP offers domestic relocation assistance tosupportthe successful incumbent in transitioning, if required. Benefits offered as part of the relocation program include (but are not limited to) new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodations, home finding trip and a relocation allowance.

Purpose

The Specialist Network Engineer Contributes to the design, build, and maintenance of high performing and resilient network services.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Applies an understanding of knowledge in Networks, including wireless networking, fixed networking, switching and routing, network solutions (e.g. SD WAN, WAN, LAN) and firewall.
• Translates user and business requirements into secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure solution architecture that meets current and forecasted demand levels.
• Engineers, configures and integrates quality technology infrastructure into existing infrastructure landscapes.
• Tests, deploys and commissions quality technology infrastructure.
• Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
• Plans, tracks the delivery of and manages a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.

About You

• Post-Secondary Engineering, IT or Trade equivalent.
• Experience with SAP Work Management & related technology systems
• Experience with Service Now (SNoW) Process & Systems
• Experience engineering and designing operational networks
• Experience testing, deploying and commissioning designs
• Ability to follow and support the improvement of defined Process
