HUBCYCLE in Brazil seeks a Sourcing Manager to drive the supplier lifecycle for Spices & Herbs. You will map and sample materials, engage new suppliers, and position HUBCYCLE for ongoing collaboration with regional partners.

You will leverage your knowledge of the local market and strong interpersonal skills to build a loyal supplier portfolio while coordinating with sales, quality and finance teams to meet business targets.

Qualificações

• 7-10 years of experience in sourcing raw materials in the spices & herbs category.
• Solid knowledge of the regional food industry, its factories and processors.
• Ability to engage new partners at fairs, events and visits.

Responsabilidades

• Map, prioritize and sample products across the supplier base.

As a Sourcing Manager in Brazil, your role is key.
On a daily basis, you will hunt for Spices and Herbs raw materials discarded by industry, mainly in Brazil, but also in connex countries of the region.

Using our dedicated tools and your ability to interact with new partners at fairs, networking events, factory visits, prospecting sessions, etc., you will succeed by helping industrial players valorize their leftovers and other by-products while developing large business opportunities.

Beyond strong interpersonal skills, this position requires knowledge of industrial processes, food engineering, manufacturing best practices, and natural abilities in B2B strategy.

You will focus on the early stages of our supplier lifecycle, more specifically, mapping, prioritizing and sampling products. Being the first point of contact with suppliers, you must also perfectly position Hubcycle for future collaboration, while maintaining a down-to-earth approach with your industry suppliers.

Thus, the position includes mastering the negotiation process such as positioning, closing and B2B user experience in complex environments. Particular attention to supplier constraints will allow you to achieve your objectives.

This position involves great dedication to problem solving and excellent working relationships.

Your position requires being in constant communication with all of the company's teams to guarantee customer satisfaction and the achievement of objectives.

As an expert of local Brazilian market, you build loyalty and develop your supplier portfolio, you ensure the quality of deliverables and the development of your Spices & Herbs product portfolio.

You will be supported by the Head of Sourcing for the sourcing technical aspects and the Global Category Manager for the product specificities & knowledge part.The team around you is also made of category experts who will provide you with all the knowledge and direction you need to be fully effective in a short period of time. Leveraging your teammates in sales, quality, product development, logistics or finance will also be key to succeed in this role.
