Chain IQ in São Paulo is seeking a Sourcing IT - Senior Consultant to lead end-to-end IT sourcing engagements, focusing on software, SaaS, and services. You will drive savings, manage bids, and shape contracts while coordinating with stakeholders across regions.

You will leverage strong negotiation skills, contract drafting capability, and supplier relationships to deliver value and ensure compliance with client policies in a dynamic international team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain concentration) or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT sourcing roles.
• Proven sourcing and negotiation experience with major IT suppliers/global carriers.
• Ability to draft and negotiate contracts with limited legal support.
• Ability to structure contracts with multiple concurrent schedules across global regions.
• Demonstrated savings opportunities and negotiating strategies to achieve cost reductions.
• Ability to manage engagement risk and document risk-sharing in contracts.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly understand new business models and sourcing tools.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives under tight deadlines.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic, client-focused individual to join our US IT Sourcing team. The candidate must have experience in the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for IT engagements,with a particular concentration in the software sourcing category. The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage IT sourcing engagements of varying spend, risk, and complexity levels on the IT sourcing (Americas) team, managing engagements in one or more of the following categories: Software licensing/maintenance, software as a service, hosted platforms/services, market data software and hosted platforms, telecom/networks, data center, hardware, and related IT outsourcing and managed services
• Communicate regularly with key business stakeholders to understand strategic direction, business requirements, objectives, and priorities across assigned categories
• Understand business requirements of each deal, and shape deals and contracts to meet those requirements
• Assess savings opportunities on all engagements, and work with clients to achieve optimal cost reductions/savings
• Develop and maintain key IT supplier relationships and stay current on their products, services, and competitors
• Manage competitive bids and RFXs for IT engagements using automated e-tools and lead the evaluation and selection processes across a cross-functional team of stakeholders
• Draft contracts based on clients’ standard templates and/or review vendor paper and negotiate them to be fit-for-purpose based on client requirements, and customize deal-specific commercial terms/conditions as needed
• Follow required processes and procedures related to supplier engagement, contract negotiation and contract execution to ensure compliance with clients’ legal, regulatory, business, and regional policies
• Provide detailed project status (and associated savings) reporting on all active and completed sourcing deals using required Chain IQ and client tools/platforms
• Partner with global Chain IQ colleagues to ensure cross-functional coordination of engagements, supplier management, process implementation, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain concentration and/or MBA would be a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT sourcing roles
• Demonstrated sourcing and negotiation experience with major IT suppliers and/or global telecom carriers
• Ability to perform contract drafting and negotiations with limited additional legal support for Master SW license maintenance agreements, supply/task orders/SOWs, amendments, service level agreements (SLAs); etc.
• Ability to structure contracts with multiple concurrent schedules, annexes, supply orders, and attachments across multiple global regions
• Demonstrated experience in identifying savings and cost reduction opportunities in IT contract negotiations and developing and leading negotiating strategies to achieve those savings
• Ability to manage engagement risk through identification and assessment of relevant hypothetical issues that could impact each engagement, and documenting such scenarios and relevant risk sharing in the contract
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior clients/stakeholders
• Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts (i.e., business models; governance models; scaling of platform from local to regional to global; supplier pricing models; contracting options and alternatives; sourcing tools and platforms; sourcing process, policies, and procedures)
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide array of initiatives to tight deadlines
