Key responsibilities for a Solution Engineer for Systems & Services include:
- Participate in project installation, commissioning (remote/on-site), and acceptance testing, supporting System Center.
- Prepare and deliver engineering documentation post system start-up.
- Contribute to improvements in building blocks based on feedback.
- Develop detailed designs for programmable building blocks.
- Support architecture, proposal, and project managers with technical solutions during proposals and contract execution.
- Review control designs, schematics, and drawings provided by technical designers.
- Iterate subsystem designs to meet budget constraints.
- Build mock-ups to test interoperability and features.
- Provide technical expertise in sales presentations, product demos, installation, and maintenance.
- Validate solutions to ensure functionality and lifecycle service capabilities.
- Prepare system testing and turnover documentation, including test records and procedures.
- Create detailed startup plans and integrate all discipline activities for commissioning.
- Assemble and review system test documentation for completeness.
- Monitor system performance, ensuring it meets budget expectations.
- Participate in system walkdowns, manage punch-list items.
- Enhance designs based on proposal inputs.
- Develop and deploy user manuals during handover.
- Collaborate on quotes for architecture, system additions, and upgrades.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely service and support.
- Analyze and resolve application failures and complaints, support upgrades, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Maintain documentation and feedback loops with service centers.
- Propose additional services and provide custom training to customers upon request.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Knowledge of design patterns, system testing, and commissioning processes.
- Experience managing suppliers/subcontractors.
- Fluent in Spanish; English skills are a plus.
- Willing to travel up to 50%.
