About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our teams in optimizing Ubuntu for the latest hardware architectures including x86, ARM, RISC-V, s390x, and POWER. This globally remote role involves managing engineering talent, overseeing project delivery, and collaborating with silicon vendors and open source communities.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop a team of engineers from junior to senior levels.
2. Oversee project milestones and support customer engagements.
3. Drive engineering practices, documentation, and quality improvements.
4. Review code and design specifications, contributing technically.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software development, particularly in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with Linux kernel or user space development.
