Coforge in Brazil is seeking a Software Engineer - Python to design, develop, and optimize backend services in a cloud-based SaaS environment. You will work on RESTful APIs, data-heavy processing, and AWS integrations within an Agile team.

The ideal candidate has a Computer Science degree, strong Python skills, experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS), and familiarity with Salesforce and SaaS architectures. English communication is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
• Experience in software application development using Python.
• Experience optimizing application performance and resource utilization.
• Ability to write mission-critical code.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, Serverless (Lambda), EC2, DynamoDB, SQS.
• Experience developing highly available backend services.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SaaS architectures and cloud-based technologies.
• Good written and communication skills in English.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of high-volume data processing features.
• Improve API functionality, performance, and service quality while maintaining accurate contracts and specs.
• Develop reliable, secure, and performant applications.

• Make significant contributions to the design, architecture, and implementation of new functionality that relies on high volumes of data and efficient processing algorithms.
• Continuously improve existing API functionality, performance, and service quality while maintaining accurate API contracts and open api specifications.
• Be involved in all aspects of software development, creating and maintaining applications that are reliable, secure, performant, and user-friendly.
• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional Agile team responsible for the entire software development process, from analyzing market needs to delivering working software.
• Write and maintain code following engineering best practices (secure coding practices, CD, KISS, etc.).
• Write unit and integration tests using a Test Driven Development methodology.
