TRACTIAN is seeking a Software Engineer - Data & Analytics to build robust data pipelines and data products. You will work with data engineers and analytics engineers to ensure data quality and enable self-service analytics across the organization.

You will design data models, implement ETL processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights through dashboards and MCPs, RAG Pipelines, APIs and visualization tools.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in Data Science or Analytics.
• Strong understanding in SQL for data modeling and database management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to transform raw data into usable formats.
• Design, implement, and optimize data models to support reporting and analytical needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across sources via validation and cleansing.
• Work with cloud data warehouses and analytics platforms for large datasets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for timely data delivery.
• Document data processes and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Create dashboards as data products for internal or external use.

Analytics at TRACTIAN

The Analytics team is responsible for building and maintaining data products and the data platform that supply them. From the most common data products such as Dashboards and Reports to the cutting-edge agentic analytics with MCPs, RAGs, Agents and Data Governance products for the entire organization. We ship to production for internal and external users the data products that are ingested, modeled and enriched in a modern analytics data stack. The team's core objective is to build reliable, groundbreaking and insightful data products from the raw consumption of the data from different sources until the delivery to the consumer.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer - Data & Analytics, you will build data products by designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and deliver that data through several ways, empowering the business teams and TRACTIAN customer itself with actionable insights. You will work closely with data engineers, analytics engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, optimize data workflows, and enable self-service analytics, driving data-informed decision-making across the organization and building the forefront of agentic analytics.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliable and timely delivery of data.
• Document data processes, workflows, and best practices to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.
• Create dashboards as data products as internal or external products
• Create and maintain MCPs, RAG Pipelines, APIs and visualization tools

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in Data Science or Analytics.
• Strong understanding in SQL for data modeling and experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL and data modeling tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., PowerBi, Looker, Tableau)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery and Clickhouse.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with agentic analytics concepts such as: LLM Data Enrichment, MCPs, agentic query building.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced Portuguese and English.
