Eurofins develops all software applications in-house to support our laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed daily, our laboratories strive to ensure every patient has access to the most specialized and innovative diagnostic techniques. This requires extensive planning and organization, augmented by technology.

What business will you support?

Eurofins is developing eLIMS-NG, the ‘Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System - Next Generation’. eLIMS-NG is a comprehensive suite of tools and applications to support testing in our laboratories worldwide.

How can you help us?

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to delivering high-quality software, building delivery pipelines, and embracing test automation and continuous delivery in an Agile environment. You will support, coach, and review code from other developers and develop strong relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community, following team lead and stakeholder guidelines.

As a Software Developer, your responsibilities include:

• Delivering and maintaining high-quality software through analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, operation, and support;
• Embracing Agile practices and adhering to Eurofins guidelines throughout the SDLC;
• Collaborating with users, analysts, architects, deployment teams, and stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose software and features;
• Building relationships within the Eurofins IT community and with internal customers;
• Fostering a positive team environment;
• Supporting, coaching, and reviewing code from other developers.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

• Minimum 4 years of experience developing end-to-end solutions, with knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, WCF, Rest, WebAPI, NUnit/MsTest, and Angular;
• Good understanding of software design principles;
• Experience with n-tier architecture solutions;
• Experience in test-driven development and test automation;
• Full-stack development knowledge, including frontend and backend technologies;
• Proficiency with relational databases (MS SQL);
• Knowledge of Cloud concepts and services (Docker, EKS);
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles;
• Knowledge of software best practices (e.g., SOLID);
• Ability to independently solve technical problems;
• Experience with Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills;
• Good English communication skills (written and oral); knowledge of another language is a plus.
