Eurofins develops all software applications in-house to service and support our laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed daily, Eurofins' clinical diagnostic services strive to ensure that every patient, regardless of location, has access to the most specialized and innovative diagnostic techniques. These activities require extensive planning and organization, which can be augmented using technology.

What business will you support?

Eurofins is developing eLIMS-NG, the ‘Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System - Next Generation’. eLIMS-NG is a comprehensive, integrated suite of tools and applications supporting testing activities in our laboratories worldwide.

How can you help us?

As a Junior Software Developer, you will contribute to delivering high-quality software, building and maintaining delivery pipelines, and embracing test automation and continuous delivery within an Agile environment.

You will support, coach, and review code from other developers and develop strong relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community, contributing to and following team lead and stakeholder guidelines.

As a Junior Software Developer, your responsibilities include:

• Delivering and maintaining high-quality software through analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, operation, and support.
• Embracing Agile practices and adhering to Eurofins guidelines throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborating with users, analysts, architects, deployment teams, and stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose software and features.
• Developing strong working relationships within the Eurofins IT community and with internal customers.
• Contributing to a positive team environment.
• Supporting, coaching, and reviewing code from other developers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience developing end-to-end solutions using .NET (C#) and Angular.
• Understanding of software design principles.
• Knowledge of n-tier architecture, test-driven development, and test automation.
• Working knowledge of full stack development, frontend and backend technologies.
• Good understanding of relational databases (MS SQL).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Knowledge of software implementation best practices (e.g., SOLID).
• Ability to solve technical problems related to the codebase.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good English communication skills (written and oral). Knowledge of another language is a plus.
