You will work with the 6th-largest privately owned organization in the United States. The customer is one of the "Big Four" accounting organizations and the largest professional services network in the world in terms of revenue and number of professionals. The company provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk, and financial advisory services to 263,900 professionals globally.

Skills required include SQL Server, Data architecture and modeling, Azure data solutions (Synapse, integration pipelines, data lakes), C#.NET & .NET Core, VSTS/Azure DevOps, Power BI, and container-hosted solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technology background in enterprises or web-scale product companies
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in database, data lake design, architectures, modeling, and cloud computing design, implementation, and support
• Proven experience delivering enterprise systems on the Microsoft stack: .NET Core, Azure, Azure Service Bus, AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions
• Exposure to Azure data solutions like Azure Synapse and Data Lake
• Deep understanding of distributed state, consistency models, and real-world latency/failure tradeoffs
• Ability to implement scalable real-time systems and dashboards with production-grade performance
• Strong grasp of messaging systems, caching strategies, and hybrid consistency architectures
• Ability to make design decisions based on system internals
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts
• Experience troubleshooting performance issues with large datasets
• Experience troubleshooting data integrity issues across high-transaction services
• Experience with monitoring and reporting capabilities on Azure cloud
• Effective communication skills with US counterparts

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable microservices using Azure-native services
• Apply distributed systems principles to build resilient, highly available systems
• Design real-time dashboards and analytics pipelines
• Lead adoption of CQRS, SAGA, and event sourcing patterns
• Engineer service-to-service communication with guarantees for exactly-once delivery and observability
• Separate write-heavy and read-heavy flows with API gateways and asynchronous processing
• Guide teams on choosing NoSQL vs. relational DBMS based on access patterns
• Scale SQL systems with techniques like read replicas, sharding, and connection pooling
• Mentor teams, conduct reviews, and uphold high standards
