AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and enhance a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, focusing on automation, tooling, and incident management.

You will manage incidents end-to-end, contribute to runbooks and documentation, onboard new clients, and build automation that reduces manual effort while improving platform reliability. The role offers flextime with remote and office options and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes in production for 4+ years.
• Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.


• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.


• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.


• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.


• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.


• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.


• Financial services background is not required.
