Job summary

Insight Global's client, a global travel and hospitality company, seeks a Senior Web Engineer to build guest-facing web experiences. You will work in a nearshore pod within the Customer Journey team, using React as the primary framework and leveraging AI coding agents daily to plan, generate, review and integrate code.

You will implement micro-frontends, design system components, test with Jest/Cypress/Playwright, and maintain CI/CD pipelines while collaborating across teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience in web development.
• Strong mastery of React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, responsive design and WCAG.
• Proficiency with micro-frontends, design systems and component-driven UI.
• Experience integrating GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Testing across unit, integration and end-to-end levels (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, bundle sizing, caching).
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions and GitLab.

Insight Global's client, a global travel & hospitality company, is seeking a Senior Web Engineer to join a nearshore pod within their Customer Journey team. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role on the client's guest experience organization, building guest-facing web experiences. React is the primary framework; Angular and Node experience are a plus. You'll use AI coding agents as a core part of your daily workflow.

Day to Day/Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship production web features using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Implement micro-frontends, component-driven design, and design system components
• Integrate with backend services through GraphQL and REST APIs
• Build responsive, accessible (WCAG) interfaces with cross-browser compatibility
• Optimize web performance, including Core Web Vitals, bundle size, lazy loading, and caching
• Use AI coding agents to plan, generate, review, and integrate code, validating output for architecture, security, performance, and quality before it ships
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Jest, Cypress, and Playwright
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab
• Participate in design and code reviews and proactively communicate risks and blockers

Skills and Requirements

• Around 5 to 8 years of experience, with some flex
