Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to join a nearshore pod within the Customer Journey team, delivering production RN code for iOS and Android within a native host app. You will work with AI coding agents as a core part of daily workflow.

You will contribute to a brownfield host-shell architecture, manage app state with Redux Toolkit or Zustand, and ensure architecture, security, and performance before shipping.

Qualifications

• Around 5 to 8 years of experience
• Proficient in React Native, React, TypeScript, and Expo/EAS
• Experience with React Native New Architecture (TurboModules, Fabric)
• Brownfield host-shell / mobile micro-frontend pattern
• State management with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Jotai
• Testing with Jest/RNTL, Detox, and contract tests for the native/RN bridge
• CI/CD with Jenkins, Bitrise, Fastlane
• Native iOS/Android knowledge (Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Kotlin/Java)
• Daily use of AI coding agents to plan, generate, review, and integrate code
• Ownership and proactive communication
• Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform
• Mobile security best practices
• Advanced performance profiling and memory optimization tools across iOS, Android, and RN

Responsibilities

Insight Global's client, a global travel & hospitality company, is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to join a nearshore pod within their Customer Journey team. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role on the client's guest experience organization, which owns their guest-facing mobile apps, website, guest accounts, and online check-in. You'll deliver production React Native code for iOS and Android within a native host app, using AI coding agents as a core part of your daily workflow.

Day to Day/Key Responsibilities:

• Build and ship production React Native, React, and TypeScript features for iOS and Android
• Develop within a brownfield host-shell / mobile micro-frontend architecture using the React Native New Architecture (TurboModules, Fabric) and Native Modules
• Define and maintain typed host bridge contracts between React Native and native iOS/Android code
• Manage app state using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Jotai
• Use AI coding agents to plan, generate, review, and integrate code, validating output for architecture, security, performance, and quality before it ships
• Write unit tests with Jest/RNTL, E2E tests with Detox, and contract tests for the native/RN bridge
• Identify and resolve performance and memory issues across React Native and native layers
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Bitrise, and Fastlane, and support App Store and Play Store releases
