Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd in North region is seeking a capable engineer to develop and maintain vision applications, procure and integrate components, configure complete vision systems, and provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering and experience with vision software, C++, C#, Python, and familiarity with TCP/IP and camera interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience with vision applications.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, or Python.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications including measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection, and related functions.
• Evaluate, procure, install, and maintain vision-related components (e.g., PCs, cameras, lighting) tailored to project requirements.
• Configure complete vision systems—including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and communication interfaces.
• Provide expert technical support to field service engineers and end customers.
• Establish performance standards, prepare technical documentation, and conduct user/team training.
• Explore and integrate emerging vision technologies into project workflows.

• Working Schedule: 5-Day Work Week | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• Package: Basic Salary + Performance Bonus

• Component Procurement & Integration: Evaluate, select, procure, install, and maintain vision-related components (e.g., PCs, cameras, lighting) tailored to project requirements.

• System Configuration: Configure complete vision systems—including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and communication interfaces to ensure optimal performance.

• Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to field service engineers and end customers.

• Documentation & Training: Establish performance standards, prepare technical documentation, and conduct user/team training.

• Technology Innovation: Explore and integrate emerging vision technologies into relevant project workflows
  

Requirements

• Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

• Experience in practical experience in vision applications.

• Experience with programming languages relevant to vision applications (e.g., C++, C#, or Python).

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces
