Job Description

The Senior Product Designer will support and lead the way into creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences within Landmark’s Information Management and Platform Technologies Development team. This role focuses on designing workflows and interfaces that improve usability, clarity, and consistency across critical service delivery applications, including drilling optimization platforms, reservoir modeling tools, and wellbore performance analytics, among others.

As a key member of the design team, the designer will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and senior designers to translate user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong interaction and visual design with a collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality, production-ready designs

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive design for complex product features and workflows, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
  • Evolve and maintain design system standards, ensuring scalability and consistency across applications.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished visual designs for production-ready experiences.
  • Lead usability testing, synthesize insights, and advocate for data-driven design decisions.
  • Provide feedback and mentorship to mid-level and junior designers, fostering growth and design excellence.
  • Partner with stakeholders to influence product strategy and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Support design reviews, promote best practices, and contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience in User Interface, User Experience or Product Design.
  • Bachelor’s, specialization’s or master’s degree in design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Industrial Design, Product Design, User Experience or a related field.
  • Proficiency in modern design software and tools such as Figma, Framer or equivalent.
  • Solid knowledge working with and maintaining Design Systems.
  • Deep understanding in interaction design, visual design, responsive design and usability principles/standards.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrates broad expertise in various design disciplines and successful project delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead design initiatives from concept to production.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and collaboration skills to work effectively in a dynamic, international, and cross-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in supporting design teams within technology-driven environments, preferably with exposure to oil and gas or industrial software sectors.
  • Solid skills and experience in user research, customer engagement, and translating insights into actionable design deliverables.
  • Experience with scientific applications, engineering, subsurface, 3D digital twins, and GIS are a plus.
