Job summary

EBANX, headquartered in Curitiba, Brazil, seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer to bridge customers with technical solutions for web/cloud apps and API integrations. You will work with Commercial, Product, Regulatory, Finance, and Dev teams to validate customer needs and craft robust proposals.

The role emphasizes customer-facing skills, cross-cultural coordination, and collaboration within an Operations-focused environment. A tech degree is required, and Spanish is a plus.

• Technical background with experience in web/cloud applications and API integrations.
• Payments industry knowledge or exposure is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a tech field is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Commercial Team to define the best technical solution.

• Work with internal teams to design and validate customer business cases.
• Prioritize, communicate, and mitigate issues with stakeholders.
• Prepare a detailed solution proposal for implementation guidance.
• Provide weekly progress updates to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth handover to the implementation team.

In the Operations team at EBANX, you don’t just oversee processes. You ensure that every step of our solution runs accurately, efficiently, and reliably, impacting millions of transactions worldwide. What your day-to-day will look like

• Work closely with the Commercial Team to understand the customer needs and define the best technical solution.
• Lead technical calls with different types of audiences: presenting EBANX solutions and/or exploratory discovery meetings to understand the customer's business case;
• Work with Internal Teams (Business Architecture, Product, Regulatory, Finance, Dev) to design and validate the customer business case and needs, always seeking the best solution;
• Prioritizes, communicates, and mitigates issues and risks with internal stakeholders promptly;
• Prepare a high-quality, documented solution proposal that is going to be delivered to the customer and used by EBANX Internal Teams as a guide to the Implementation Project.
• Report to internal stakeholders weekly on the progress of all of your work with the customers.
• Guarantee a frictionless handover to the implementation team once the design is complete

What you need to shine in this role

• Technical background, with a focus on Web-based/cloud applications, and API communication;
• Payments industry background;
• Ability to coordinate effectively with people across geographically diverse cultures;
• Customer-facing skills, effective interpersonal relationships, demonstrating professional and technical credibility;
• A strong Team Player, helping to develop the Pre-Sales Engineer Team alongside the EBANX Growth.
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in a tech area
