Salesforce is seeking a Technical Consultant to join MuleSoft Professional Services, working with clients to solve complex integration challenges using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.

You will deliver API integrations, build Mule applications, and implement secure multi-agent ecosystems across cloud and hybrid environments. Strong DataWeave, RAML/OAS, and cloud experience are essential for success.

Qualificações

• 3+ years hands-on Mule 4 development delivering production integrations.
• Active MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1, or willingness to certify within the first 30 days at contractor's cost.
• Demonstrated end-to-end implementation of integration projects: requirements to deployment.
• Strong DataWeave 2.x, RAML / OAS, MUnit, and HTTP / Salesforce / JMS / DB connectors.
• Working with CloudHub, API Manager policies, and Anypoint Exchange.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver hand-on Mule application development (APIs, flows, DataWeave, MUnit, error handling) as per the engagement architecture.
• Implement canonical / customer-specific contracts including saga, idempotency, async, and event-driven patterns.
• Convert standard MuleSoft APIs into structured assets for AI-enabled browsing and action.
• Implement secure cross-domain communication to enable autonomous agents to delegate tasks safely.
• Produce engagement deliverables: design notes, technical docs, runbooks, test evidence, deployment artifacts.
• Collaborate with customer teams, MuleSoft architects, and delivery partners to unblock delivery.
• Operate within cloud/on-prem/hybrid environments and troubleshoot in Dev/Test/Prod.
• Adhere to MuleSoft delivery standards, code-review gates, and change-management policies.
• Track time, status, and risk per Engagement Manager cadence.

MuleSoft’s Professional Services team works across every technology and system to deliver solutions to customers in every industry. As a Technical Consultant or Sr Technical Consultant on our Services team, you will work hand-on with our customers and partners to solve mission-critical business challenges using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform. You will provide technical guidance on MuleSoft implementation projects, evaluate the customer’s technical and functional requirements, and develop cost-effective solutions to provide customers with demonstrable returns.

As a subject-matter expert, you will build the next generation of Agentic Architecture, developing Mule applications that serve as actionable tools for autonomous AI networks and implementing secure multi-agent ecosystems across cloud and hybrid environments.

You will do:

• Deliver hand-on Mule application development (APIs, flows, DataWeave, MUnit, error handling) against architecture provided by the engagement's Technical Architect.
• Implement canonical / customer-specific contracts, including saga, idempotency, async, and event-driven patterns where prescribed.
• Convert standard MuleSoft APIs into discoverable, structured assets utilizing MuleSoft MCP (Model Context Protocol) Support, enabling AI agents to natively browse, query, and take action.
• Implement secure, cross-domain communication channels using the A2A Protocol to allow autonomous agents to safely delegate tasks to one another.
• Produce required engagement deliverables: design notes, technical documentation, runbooks, MUnit suites, test evidence, deployment artifacts.
• Work side by side with customer technical teams, MuleSoft architects, and others to unblock delivery.
• Operate within the customer's cloud / on-prem / hybrid environment per the engagement architecture; troubleshoot in Dev / Test / Prod as required.
• Comply with MuleSoft delivery standards, code-review gates, and the customer's change-management policies.
• Track and report time, status and risk on the cadence defined by the Engagement Manager.

We are looking for:

• 3+ years hand-on Mule 4 development delivering production integrations.
• Active MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1, or willingness to certify within the first 30 days at the contractor's own cost.
• Demonstrated end-to-end implementation of integration projects: requirements to deployment.
• Strong DataWeave 2.x, RAML / OAS, MUnit, and HTTP / Salesforce / JMS / DB connectors.
• Working experience with CloudHub, API Manager policies, and Anypoint Exchange.
• Java troubleshooting and reading skills (heap, threads, profiling basics).
• Self-sufficient on Mule fundamentals - able to plug into a delivery team without supervision.
• An understanding of data formats used in AI grounding and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) contexts.

Nice to have:

• Anypoint Runtime Fabric experience.
• Active MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 or MuleSoft Architecture Certification
• Industry-vertical delivery exposure (telco, financial services, healthcare, public sector, retail).
• Event-driven design with Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or Solace.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce configurations and driving external actions via MuleSoft event streams.
• Familiarity with context-handling techniques for LLMs, such as managing chat histories, injecting variables into prompt templates via Mule flows, and handling unstructured data sources.
• Hands-on experience building generative integration applications with MuleSoft Vibes or Anypoint Code Builder's natural language capabilities.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines into Anypoint (Maven, mule-maven-plugin, Anypoint CLI).

Business sense:

• Ability to translate complex technical architectures and MuleSoft topics into clear, high-level business value.
• Results-oriented with a strong collaborative mindset, high self-motivation, and a track record of proactive networking.
• Working English (spoken, written); additional regional languages where the engagement requires.
• Readiness to travel (10-25%) regionally or internationally as required by the engagement
• Experience working in international, cross-functional teams and multicultural environments is a plus.
