Senior System Architect – Bilingual (Portuguese & Spanish)
The Role:
We are seeking a Senior System Architect to join our dynamic global delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing technical solutions that meet client business needs while leveraging the full power of the EIS platform. You will play a key leadership role in implementation projects, guiding technical teams, supporting integrations, and ensuring system scalability and performance.
This is a remote position with a preference for candidates fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, given our expanding client base in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead the technical design and architecture of complex insurance software solutions.
- Work closely with Business Architects, Solution Architects, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Provide hands-on leadership during system configuration, customization, and integration activities.
- Define and enforce best practices around system performance, security, and maintainability.
- Guide development teams through solution implementation, code reviews, and technical issue resolution.
- Support integration with third-party systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across project teams.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, or technical consulting.
- Strong background in core insurance systems (Policy, Billing, Claims, or Customer Management).
- Hands-on experience with Java, REST APIs, cloud-native architectures, and microservices.
- Experience working with integration tools, middleware, and enterprise platforms.
- Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish is required.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed (~10–20%).
- Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience implementing or integrating with platforms like EIS Suite, Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
