Tightlinesoftware is seeking a senior technical leader to architect and deliver complex Java applications in a scalable, secure enterprise environment. You will mentor engineers, drive agile practices, and ensure robust, high-availability systems.

You will lead architectural decisions across microservices, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD, partnering with product and external vendors to align tech with business goals. Strong communication and mentoring skills required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years in technical software development with senior leadership.
• 4+ years architecting enterprise Java apps with Spring and automated tests.
• Experience designing scalable RESTful microservices and APIs.
• Cloud expertise (AWS or Azure) with containers, serverless, messaging, and IaC.
• Database design, SQL optimization, and ORM/data access for high throughput.
• Lead architectural lifecycle of major production features.
• Strong system design, distributed architectures, and clean-code principles.
• Secure development practices and vulnerability remediation tools.
• CI/CD, DevOps mindset, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

About the Role

• Drive Technical Leadership: Architect, design, and deliver complex application features while setting high technical and software standards across the team.

About You

Your qualifications are:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, architecture, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 6+ years in a technical software development role with demonstrated progression into senior-level technical leadership.
• 4+ years of deep experience architecting and developing enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework, with comprehensive automated testing practices.

• Extensive experience designing, building, securing, and maintaining scalable RESTful microservices and API ecosystems.
• Advanced expertise with cloud services (AWS or Azure), including hands-on experience with containerized applications (Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate), serverless architecture (Lambda), messaging (SQS, SNS), and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Proven track record in database design, complex SQL optimization, and efficient ORM/data access management for high-throughput applications.
• Demonstrated history of successfully leading the architectural lifecycle of major production-grade features from inception to deployment.
• Strong expertise in system design patterns, distributed systems architecture, microservices, and clean code principles.
• Deep knowledge of secure development practices, security testing methodologies, and vulnerability resolution using tools like Snyk or Qualys.
• Strong inclination toward CI/CD automation, DevOps principles, performance tuning, and proactive system monitoring.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to mentor team members and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
