Sigmasoftware2 is seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and operate large-scale distributed systems in Brazil. You will build scalable backend services, design APIs, and implement event-driven architectures.

You will optimize CI/CD, ensure reliability, troubleshoot complex production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions. Fluency in English (C1+), strong communication, and hands-on AWS/EKS experience are required.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kafka or other event streaming solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS and EKS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Hands‑on experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of event‑driven architectures.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• English level: Advanced (C1) or higher.
